Paid parking at Bettmeralp valley station: 568 covered spaces (max height 2.4 m) plus about 1,000 outdoors; no reservations. First hour free; winter day rate CHF 13, summer CHF 11; every 7th, 14th and 21st day free; CHF 1 per extra hour between days. Bettmeralp itself is car-free — take the cable car up from the valley. A separate paid Mörel Parking Aletsch lot (for Riederalp access) charges CHF 13 for a winter day.
