Good to know
Trail map marks Limited Day Parking at bases; renovation page encourages free local bus or Brush Creek parking on peak times. Winter ski-season parking is free as of the most recent reporting (2025-26); Pitkin County has been exploring paid ski-season parking alternatives with Aspen Skiing Co. but nothing was in effect for 26/27 as of Sept 2026. A separate $6/day (oversized $40/day) fee applies only in the non-ski-season shoulder window (spring/summer), not during lift operation.
