Kutchan Town's Hirafu Ski Area No.1 Parking runs a paid trial from December 20, 2025 to February 28, 2026, 8am–3pm (35 spaces): ¥600/hour, up to ¥3,000/day (year-end rates from December 24–January 4 may differ). It's cashless and can be reserved in advance. Town residents with a Kutchan ID park free in a separate zone. Other public lots exist in Hirafu outside this paid area.

Niseko Mt. Resort Grand Hirafu is in Hirafu West Village, Japan (Hidaka Mountains). Its base is at 260 m and its summit at 1,179 m, a vertical drop of 919 m. It's on the Ikon Pass and Mountain Collective. Parking is paid and needs no reservation. Niseko Mt. Resort Grand Hirafu hasn't announced its 2026–27 opening date yet. It typically opens around December 20.
