Snowshoe Mountain is in Snowshoe, West Virginia (Allegheny Mountains). Its base is at 995 m and its summit at 1,446 m, a vertical drop of 451 m. It's on the Ikon Pass. Parking is free and needs no reservation. Snowshoe Mountain hasn't announced its 2026–27 opening date yet. It typically opens around November 25.
