Recommend carpooling on busy weekends; Mt. Hood Express / Timberline Resort Shuttle from Government Camp alternatives.

Timberline Lodge is in Government Camp, Oregon (Cascade Range). Its base is at 1,817 m and its summit at 2,587 m, a vertical drop of 770 m. It's on the Powder Alliance. Parking is free and needs no reservation. Timberline Lodge hasn't announced its 2026–27 opening date yet. It typically opens around November 1.
